1989 | Completed Joinery Carpentry Apprenticeship
1993 | Nick set up The Timber Trip - a 2013 bespoke furniture company. Creating furniture pieces and built-in joinery items for residential and commercial clients. All pieces crafted using solid recycled and sustainably harvested native timbers.
The business started in Brunswick Street Fitzroy, Melbourne and operated as a showroom and workshop.
2003 | The business moved to Abbottsford Melbourne where Nick concentrated on private commissions, a commercial furniture range and fit-outs of some the best bars and restaurants in Melbourne.
2008 | Nick is joined by partner Sunny Wilder bringing Sunny's architectural & design experience.
2011 | The Timber Trip moves to Pambula NSW where Nick continues to work on private commissions and commercial projects for the Melbourne market.
2014 | Change of Business name to WilderCoyle to reflect and formalise Sunny’s involvement in the business.
